Australian Batsman Aaron Finch signs cricket NFT pact with Rario.

Rario, the world’s first legally licensed cricket digital collectibles platform, recently revealed that Australian white-ball batsman and captain Aaron Finch has signed with them.

Aaron is the latest among the celebrities to jump on the cricketers’ wagon for the journey of the non-fungible token by signing a pact with Rario. Aaron’s NFTs will be offered exclusively on Rario as a result of this partnership.

Previously, the platform has partnered with top cricket players like Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, Smriti Mandhana, Rishabh Pant, Rashid Khan, Jason Holder, Quinton De Kock, M Siraj, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Shafali Verma.

    About Rario.

Rario is a non-fungible digital collection platform that allows cricket enthusiasts to collect and trade ‘licensed and digitalized’ cricket moments on the blockchain (NFT). It was founded by Ankit Wadhwa and Sunny Bhanot with a mission of democratizing fandom.

The RARIO founding team includes serial entrepreneurs who have worked at top firms like McKinsey, Hindustan Times, Rocket Internet, Google, SHELL, etc., and have degrees from IIT, IIM, and Wharton.

    Quoting Aaron on the collaboration:

“As a sportsperson, playing with pride and passion for our nation, franchises and clubs are all special. There are many memorable moments on the cricket field that leave long-lasting impressions on us and our fans. I am delighted to announce my exclusive partnership with the Rario cricket Metaverse, where you can own my NFTs and relive these moments with me!” stated the captain on partnership with Rario.

Ankit Wadhwa, co-founder and CEO of Rario, stated, “Aaron is the captain of Australia’s limited-overs side, which won the T20 World Cup for the first time.” He also mentioned that the batsman is a cricketing legend who has given us some of the most memorable moments in the sport in recent years. He’s a deserving and valuable addition to Rario’s increasing list of ambassadors.

The list of NFT drops by Rario includes:

    • Rario Inaugral Drop-
As the name suggests, this drop was the first Rario collection.
The launch packets include some of the most memorable moments from the history of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). It is a list of the greatest 46 moments from the CPL’s history, as chosen by cricket experts. The moments have been divided into tiers based on the level of play, the stature of the players, and their significance in the context of the match.
    • CPL Trailblazers 2021
This collection features incredible moments from the CPL’s current season (Caribbean Premier League). The starting price for this pack was kept at 50 US dollars apiece. It was sold on first come first serve basis and had 1 Gold and 2 Silver cards.
    • Remember the Titans 2021
This collection also featured the famous moments from the 9th season of CPL that ended during the time of the launch. The collectors were given the permit to register for and buy at max 3 sets. The collection was sold within hours of launch.

Aside from being the first official platform for cricket NFTs, there was also some brilliant incentive-based marketing at play for the success of this marketplace. Within days after the Marketplace’s opening, an early user could enjoy a 111x return on his Rario Cricket card.

One Rario user saw a tremendous 111x return after selling a card worth 2 US dollars, depicting cricketer Sheldon Cottrell’s “salute” celebration for $222 just days after it was launched, demonstrating the feature’s success. More 100x sales are expected to follow, according to early projections in the community.
