    Hyundai enters the NFT universe

    Hyundai Motor Company is the first carmaker to enter the community-based NFT sector in the world. In conjunction with the ‘Meta Kongz’ NFT brand, the company has entered this market.

    The company stated today that it will collaborate with the ‘Meta Kongz’ NFT brand to enter the online community-based Non-Fungible Token (NFT) market. As a result, Hyundai becomes the first carmaker to enter the market with its own NFT community, which includes its own NFT official website as well as Discord and Twitter channels. The official NFT website will launch in May 2022, while the Discord and Twitter channels for the company’s NFT started on April 15.

    The Hyundai brand experience in the metaverse

    Hyundai claims that by distributing NFTs showing its mobility solutions, the NFT community will provide its users with a brand experience in the metaverse. Hyundai hopes to manage the asset value of its NFTs by offering dedicated channels for the NFT community. The web platforms will provide a 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week communication channel between the company and community members, as well as real-time updates on the asset value of the company’s NFTs.

    The Hyundai NFT universe idea, “Metamobility universe,’ which embodies its vision of the ‘Metamobility’ concept presented at CES 2022, was also introduced in a short video. On April 20, the company will release 30 limited editions of “Hyundai x Meta Kongz’ NFTs to honor the film’s release.     It’s worth noting that MG Motor was the first carmaker to enter the NFT space in India, launching a selection of NFTs in December 2021. Then, with the distribution of its first tranche of tokens, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited declared its entry into the NFT (non-fungible token) realm.
