KGF NFTs sets foot in metaverse

    Rocky Bhai KGF NFTs

Collectors have snatched up a record number of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in what has been dubbed India’s largest NFT sale to date. The first 500 NFTs were sold in the first 10 minutes of the sale. Hombale Films, the creators of the KGF franchise, have released three new NFTs: the Bombay Rocky, Karachi Rocky, and Toofan Rocky avatars.

On Thursday, Hombale Films, in collaboration with Lysto and Bookmyshow, introduced ‘KGFVerse,’ a digital avatar-based metaverse dedicated to the film’s fans. Since the sale was first announced, there had been a lot of buzz, and a lot of people were hoping to get their hands on the exceptionally rare Rocky Bhai NFT, which had caused quite a stir. The sale drew a strong response from purchasers, with the first 500 NFTS selling out in less than 10 minutes, setting a new Indian record for any NFT sale.

Fans may own KGF franchise-themed digital treasures, NFTs, and membership in this creative metaverse area as theatres prepare to welcome the much-anticipated sequel to the big screen. The producers think that now is the appropriate time for Hombale Films to enter the lucrative NFT business and that their cooperation with Lysto and Bookmyshow will allow them to benefit from their marketing and technology infrastructure.

With the endless possibilities for fan engagement and digital community building that the metaverse provides, this initiative has taken a phased approach, beginning with the launch of 10,000 ‘El-Dorado‘ digital tokens that cinephiles can either buy using MATIC (Polygon) cryptocurrency or win through the many contests that have gone live on Hombale Films, Lyst, and BookMyShow’s social media platforms.

The ‘El-Dorado’ digital tokens, named after the mythical city of gold, allow their owners to join the KGFVerse’s gated collection, giving them first access to future next-generation avatar drops, the KGFverse land sale, and special events such as real-life meetups and interactions with the KGF team, among other exciting possibilities.

Fans will get the opportunity to experience many more thrilling drops that will be published soon through numerous phases that will follow. “Metaverse is the new frontier of the Internet and an innovative approach to communicating with audiences and movie enthusiasts,” Vijay Kiragandur, Founder of Hombale Films, remarked on the KGFverse. Every piece of artwork in KGF is one-of-a-kind and has never been seen before in any other film. This fueled our desire to go large in the Metaverse.

KGF NFTs be a big step in the metaverse

“We also want our followers to be a part of it and have the opportunity to experience it.” We’re delighted to explore this region to allow our fans to connect with pieces of both chapters of KGF in the metaverse.”

“While Indian fans are getting their dose with the international market in NFT and the artwork available online, the unconditional love that KGF has received and fans extend, offers an immense potential for us in ushering into this new world of Web 3.0,” Chaluve Gowda, co-founder of Hombale Films, said of the NFT market and their plans ahead.

“We are seeing that every Indian fan wants to be more than a passive observer or silent admirer of art; they want to be active participants who go out of their way to support their heroes.” We know what our fans want, and the whole point is to empower them to bring their favorite celebrities closer to them by making them more accessible. Our KGFverse allows fans to directly support their favorite artists, show off their fandom, and become a part of the greater community.
