    MakeMyTrip travelling NFTs.

The online travel agency has released limited-edition non-fungible tokens (NFTs). According to the firm, the artwork for these NFTs was conceptualized and produced to celebrate some of India’s well-known as well as lesser-known travel jewels. According to the firm, this will allow travelers to own digital memorabilia of their favorite locales.

The landscapes of Goa, Ladakh, Orissa, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, Kerala, Meghalaya, Rajasthan, and the Andaman Islands will be featured in the first batch of these artworks.

The artworks were created using advanced AI Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), a technique that is uploaded with multiple photos and depicts realistic visuals, according to the Nasdaq-listed business. AI Bots, an online community of computer artists, designed these artworks.

The limited-edition artwork will depict a meta-world vision of the country’s most visited and least visited sites. The NFT on Goa, for example, depicts the stunning natural beauty of the state’s beaches while also showcasing lesser-known tourist attractions such as Pandava Cave, Basilica of Bom Jesus, Dudhsagar Falls, and the magnificent Fort Tiracol.

How to access the NFT collection.

The app and website can be used to access this collection of NFTs. For each artwork, the firm has issued 25 tokens. These works were created using Polygon Blockchain, a premier Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development platform, and are available on NgageN, a blockchain startup KoineArth’s platform.

In a statement released by Sunil Suresh, the group’s chief marketing officer said “The NFTs are a confluence of new-age technology with the world of travel as it captures the beauty of some of the exotic locations of India. We are offering travel enthusiasts a never-before chance to be owners of this beauty in the digital domain.”

KoineArth’s founder, Praphul Chandra also commented on the launch saying “With the launch of their NFTs, Indians around the world can digitally own the beauty of India, make it part of their personal legacy and even gift it to their loved ones. The artwork of NFTs is a great example of how brands-with-a-purpose are working with digital artists to create art that captures their spirit.”

The revenue earned from the sale of these NFTs would be used to assist projects aimed at improving sustainable tourism in the country, according to the business.
